About Us

Project Moving Forward is a Pioneering and Unique charitable endeavour that seeks to address some of the most pressing concerns facing the Somali Community in England.

Quite apart from many organisations, projects and enterprises that envision the same ideals, it is being spearheaded by a registered charity that seeks to deliver support where it is needed and forge long-lasting co-operative partnerships with key Local Authority departmental services and schools.

From January to July 2010, Project Moving Forward (PMF) delivered Successful Pilot Support Programmes to a network of 10 schools and educational centres in the city of Birmingham, which has expanded gradually to encompass nearly 16 Schools and providing support services in conjunction with the social services.
